New in legislation about local self-government

On 16th of December 2017 Federal law №389-FL of 5 December 2017 "On amendments to articles 25.1 and 56 of the Federal Law" On general principles of organization of local self-government in the Russian Federation "came into force.

The federal law provides for the possibility of resolving questions on the introduction and use of self-taxation funds at the gathering of citizens on the territory of a settlement that is part of a settlement, an intercity district, an inner city of a city of federal significance, a city district or located on an inter-settlement territory within the boundaries of a municipal district.

In view of the foregoing, it is required to amend the Statute of municipalities and municipal regulatory legal acts regulating the procedure for holding citizens' gatherings on questions of self-taxation
