Meeting with the Minister of Justice of Kirov region
Minister of Justice of the Kirov region Irina Gordeeva visited the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan with a working visit.
The Minister was given a tour of the Museum of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan and was told about the history of its formation and development. Irina Vyacheslavovna was given a detailed tour of the Museum and expressed her gratitude to the Ministry's authorities for their hard work on research and preservation of archive data, dedicated to the development of the world justice. "An interesting, informative exhibition with a possibility of immersion in archival documents," she noted.
During the meeting Rustem Zagidullin, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, held a meeting with Irina Gordeeva. Welcoming his colleague Rustem Zagidullin said that the exchange of experience is important to better assess their own activities and to understand the main trends and tendencies in the field of justice.
During the meeting, the First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Aynur Galimov told about the organization of free legal aid in the Republic. The parties discussed the application of digital solutions in this area, including the implementation of the pilot project "Unified state portal of legal education and free legal aid".
One of the main topics for discussion was also the opening of the State Legal Bureau in the Republic of Tatarstan. The institution coordinates all participants of free legal aid, and legal advice is provided to all applicants regardless of the category. In 2023 the employees of the State Legal Bureau received 884 citizens. Sixteen on-site events were conducted in the municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, three in public organizations and republican authorities.
The parties also discussed modern development of the justice of the peace, exchanged experience in terms of provision of justice of the peace.
