Tatarstan summarized the results of the competition of anti-corruption expertise of legal acts
In 2023, no prizes will be awarded to independent experts on anti-corruption expert examination of normative legal acts and draft normative legal acts. This decision was made following a meeting of the competition commission at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan.
According to First Deputy Minister of Justice Ainur Galimov, in order to qualify for prizes in the competition, experts need to score a sum of points greater than the product of 15 points and the number of members of the competition commission.
"The commission consists of 12 members, the product of this number and 15 points is 180. The final sum of points of the participants is less than 180", - explained the first deputy minister.
Acceptance of applications was held from October 1 to October 30, 2023. There were 2 applications and 11 conclusions submitted for participation in the competition. The Commission evaluated the participants on a number of criteria. Among them: the activity of participation of an independent expert in the independent expert review, the public significance of corruption factors identified by the expert and the practical significance of ways to eliminate them.
Ainur Galimov separately dwelled on the issues of attracting new individuals to work as independent experts. "This year 6 individuals were accredited as independent experts for the first time. For them, as well as for existing experts in the I and III quarters of the Ministry were held training seminars, - said the first deputy minister, - however, the experts did not show due activity," he added.
