Families whose children are being treated in the DRC have received free legal assistance
The Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan held an event to provide free legal assistance in the Family Home of the charitable foundation «Family Together», which is located on the territory of the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital. Legal assistance was provided on issues related to the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of children.
Qualified legal assistance to families was provided by specialists from the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Notary Chamber of Tatarstan, the Office of the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Main Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of Tatarstan. The event is organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan.
«More than 30 people came to the reception. The uniqueness of such events lies in the fact that various bodies are involved in consulting – these are republican ministries, federal agencies, the prosecutor's office, the pension fund, lawyers and notaries. This increases the efficiency of decision-making on specific applications», - says Ilfat Mingalimov, head of the Department of organization of free legal assistance and planning.
The parents of children undergoing long-term and complex hospital treatment most often received questions about social and pension provision, housing, family, and land legislation.
«This is a very big help for those in need, all problems are being solved. They helped me find lawyers for free. I was at this event for the first time and did not expect that I would be helped in solving so many issues that were not resolved», - said Rosa Efarova gratefully.
