Avito and ANO «Digital Economy», with the support of the Ministry of Education of Russia and the Ministry of Finance of Russia, launched a new season of the All-Russian educational project in the field of digital literacy and cybersecurity «Digital Educational Program».
Digital literacy and cybersecurity lessons for schoolchildren within the framework of the Digital Education project will be held in all regions of the country. The materials of the new Avito season are devoted to the rules of safe transactions on the Internet. The heroes of the videos tell how to choose reliable sellers and products, communicate safely through the platform's tools, arrange delivery, about the rules for placing ads, and also give tips on saving personal data and money when making online transactions.
In the video about safe shopping, the main character Ryapushka Varya is looking for a missing collectible figurine. First, she gets on a suspicious platform with questionable sellers. The heroine's older sister Polina told Varya how to choose a reliable platform, what to pay attention to when choosing a seller, how to communicate, arrange a safe purchase and delivery.
In the video about the rules for placing ads, Varya helps her friend Maxim Burbot sell a skateboard. At first, they couldn't place the ad – it was blocked. Varina's older sister Polina told the guys how to place an ad correctly, what to avoid and what to pay attention to.
Thanks to the videos, students will be able not only to learn how to behave safely on the Internet, but also to increase the level of digital literacy in an accessible interactive format. The formation of these skills among the younger generation corresponds to the objectives of the national project «Digital Economy», aimed at ensuring digital security and training qualified IT personnel in Russia.
The project is designed for the 6+ age group. The project materials have been verified by the Institute for the Study of Childhood, Family and Upbringing and are recommended for viewing with parents or teachers. The content of the project also includes methodological materials for teachers that will help to effectively integrate videos into the educational process in lessons in various subjects, in extracurricular activities, as well as use them at parent meetings to visually explain the threats that a child may face.
