Rustem Zagidullin: «A magistrate of the peace must possess qualities such as sensitivity, morality and the ability to listen to people»
Today, a solemn ceremony of awarding certificates to magistrates of the republic took place in the parliamentary hall of the State Council of Tatarstan.
Congratulating the magistrates on the memorable event, Rustem Zagidullin noted that the event has become traditional and is a significant event for its participants.
The Minister noted that magistrates account for the majority of cases considered by courts of all jurisdictions. «World justice is a fundamental tool of the judicial system, which is as close as possible to the population. This means that in addition to responsibility, professionalism and legal literacy, a justice of the peace must be sensitive, moral and be able to listen to people», - he added.
The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan closely cooperates with magistrates on issues of logistical, organizational, methodological and financial support for their activities. An important factor of public confidence in the judicial system is the accessibility of courts to the public in terms of their location, in particular, the appearance of the building in which the judicial precinct is located.
Annually, within the framework of the state program «Development of Justice in the Republic of Tatarstan», the Ministry of Justice of the Republic carries out capital and current repairs in the buildings of judicial precincts of magistrates. About half a billion rubles are allocated annually from the republic's budget to create modern and comfortable conditions for the administration of justice. The amount of financing for 2024 was approved in the amount of 644.1 million rubles.
«I am sure that through joint efforts we will be able to create decent conditions for the administration of justice and residents of the republic who apply to the court», - the minister said. In conclusion, he wished all participants of the ceremony good health, well-being and success in business!
A total of 14 certificates were issued today to magistrates representing various judicial districts of Tatarstan.
