More than 50 questions were asked by residents of the republic during an event to provide free legal assistances
Guardianship, rehabilitation for people with disabilities and disagreement with charges for housing and communal services: the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan organized an event to provide free legal assistance, during which lawyers from relevant ministries, federal and supervisory authorities answered more than 50 questions. The event was organized in honor of the celebration the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan and was held in the House of Friendship of Peoples.
«We invited specialists from various government agencies. Among the invited representatives are employees of republican ministries, federal agencies, the prosecutor's office, the State Legal Bureau, as well as representatives of the Pension Fund, the Bar and Notary Chambers of the Republic of Tatarstan», - said Ilya Gomzik, First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to him, such an integrated approach allows for a comprehensive consideration of issues that can often relate to various areas of law, such as civil, family, labor or administrative.
During the reception, Tatarstan residents were interested in the procedure for establishing guardianship over minor children. Specialists explained the procedure for filing an application, collecting the necessary documents and formalizing guardianship. Many questions were received on the topic of fraudulent activities. Residents of the republic were also concerned about the rehabilitation of disabled people. They asked about available rehabilitation programs, the procedure for receiving state support and benefits. Specialists provided information about current programs and explained the procedure for their registration.
The reception also raised issues of registration and division of inheritance. Citizens were interested in the terms of entering into inheritance, the procedure for registering inheritance rights and dividing inherited property. Lawyers explained the legal aspects of these processes and gave practical recommendations. Some citizens expressed disagreement with charges for housing and communal services. Specialists advised them on the procedure for challenging utility bills, grounds for recalculation and ways to protect their rights.
Iksanov R.F., a resident of Kazan, expressed gratitude for the help he received at the reception of citizens. «This is a great help for us in need. I attended this event for the first time. I had a problem with social protection and my problem was solved. Thank you!», - Iksanov said. He also expressed hope that such events will be held more often and become regular.
