On February 5th, 2019, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Ibyatov M.M. participated in the meeting of the Committee of the State Council on state-building and local self-government of the Republic of Tatarstan with a report: «On the draft Law «On the article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan «On contractual termsunder the title concerning the implementation of the separate powers of state, transferred to the local self-government bodies by federal laws and laws of the Republic of Tatarstan, for the Head of the Executive Committee of the municipal district (city district)», that is no longer valid». The draft law was approved by the Committee.
Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Zagidullin R.I. gave an interview to a correspondent of the «Tatar-inform» News Agency in Tatar language. The results of the work of the ministry in 2018 and challenges facing the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan during the current year were announced in the interview.

The Law of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 113-3RT of December 22nd, 2018, on amendments to the article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan «On the guaranties of exercising of authority of a member of the municipality’s representative body, a member of the local self-government body, an elected official of the local self-government in the Republic of Tatarstan» has been enacted.
