ukharryam Ibyatov reported on the establishment of the borders of Tatarstan with all adjacent subjects of the Russian Federation

20 March 2024, Wednesday

The State Council held a joint meeting of the Committee on State Construction and Local Self-Government and the expert council under the committee, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Justice Mukharryam Ibyatov.

Mukharryam Mansurovich made a report on the control issue: «On the implementation of the laws of the Republic of Tatarstan on the establishment of boundaries of territories of municipalities in connection with the establishment of the location of the border of the Republic of Tatarstan».

In 2023, the Republic of Tatarstan completed work on establishing borders with related entities – the Republic of Chuvashia, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Mari El, the Udmurt Republic, Samara, Kirov, Ulyanovsk and Orenburg regions.

According to Deputy Minister of Justice Mukharryam Ibyatov, to date, information has been entered into the Unified State Register of Real Estate on the passage of the republic's border with all adjacent subjects of the Russian Federation and along all borders of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In connection with the clarified coordinate points along the entire border of the republic in those municipal areas whose borders coincide with the republican borders, it was assumed that amendments would be made to the laws of the Republic of Tatarstan, which established the statuses and boundaries of municipalities in 2005. As the Deputy Minister noted, following the discussions, it was decided that not all laws will need to be amended.

«Nodal points are not affected everywhere and not all textual descriptions of municipal boundaries contain a reference to the passage of the republic's border. The wording in the current laws of the republic on the establishment of boundaries of municipal districts makes it possible not to detail the description of the border every time»,- Mukharryam Ibyatov clarified.
