Staff of the Ministry of justice RT on the “Cross-country race of nation-2017”

On 16th of September 2017 in Kazan, the central start of the All-Russian race day "Cross-country race of nation - 2017" took place.

"Cross-country race of nation" is one of the most ambitious all-Russian sports events. Every year it unites thousands of people who are not indifferent to sports, regardless of their age and level of physical fitness.

The Minister of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin together with the employees of the Ministry traditionally took an active part in this large-scale sporting event.

20,750 people took part in the competitions. The races were organized on the site adjoining the Central Stadium, the route passed along the Kremlin embankment.

The first to go to the racetrack were schoolchildren, who pass the normal running rate of the RLD for 2 km. Following them ran professional athletes, who had to test themselves at long distances of 8, 6 and 4 km in length.

After the professional races, an official opening ceremony took place, where deputy prime minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Vasil Shaikhraziev and first deputy head of the Executive committee of the Kazan city Damir Fattakhov made a welcoming speech.

Then the race of the heads of the republican and federal executive bodies took place. In addition, 1 km of the race took place among the staff of ministries and departments of the republic, children under the age of 2008, veterans of 35 years and older, members of the Union of pensioners, students of higher and secondary special educational institutions of Kazan and the RT. Also this year, for the first time, a race for people with disabilities was organized, among which there were people wishing to join the holiday of running
