Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan on the "Cross of the Nation - 2018"
On September 15, 2018, Kazan and the whole Republic of Tatarstan joined the All-Russian Running Day «Cross of the Nation – 2018».
«Cross of the Nation» is one of the most ambitious all-Russian sports events. It unites thousands of people who are not indifferent to sports, regardless of their age and level of physical fitness.
In Kazan, the races started in the morning on the central street of the city. The route passed along the Kremlin embankment street from Dekabristov street to Said-Galeyeva street.
Before the start guests and participants of the race welcomed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Leila Fazleeva, the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Leonov and the Chairman of the Committee of Physical Culture and Sports of the Executive Committee of Kazan Svetlana Vostrikova.
After the opening ceremony, the honorary guests went to the start of the most mass race. Schoolchildren, heads of republican and federal executive bodies, employees of state and public organizations, students of children's and youth sports schools, students, veterans of sports, professional sportsmen, etc. have traditionally entered the race track. The program of the «Cross of the Nation-2018» also included a special race in within the framework of the GTO project for a distance of 2 km.
The Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustem Zagidullin, together with the ministry's employees, traditionally took an active part in this large-scale sporting event.
In the race of the heads of the republican and federal executive bodies on the All-Russian day of the run «Cross of the Nation – 2018», the minister took the prize.
