Roundtable of the questions of free legal assistance

On October 8th, 2019, First Deputy Minister of Justice Aynur Galimov took part in round-table conference on free legal aid which was held in Kazan institute (branch) of Russian state university of justice (RLA of Minjust of Russia).
The main point of the event was necessity of development of cooperation between governmental and non-governmental bodies and establishments in sphere of free legal aid.
Within round-table program questions on expansion of possibility of accessing free legal aid for citizens and establishing of single standards of FLA for universities of the Republic of Tatarstan. Procedure of formulation of single criteria for legal aid quality assessment also was discussed within the round-table.
Within the event Aynur Galimov reported about organization of free legal aid in the Republic and noted summary of FLA events in 2019 and shared plans for the 4th quarter 2019.
Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan held 4 events (in Ronald McDonald House, in House of friendship between Peoples, in Almetyevsk and Lenin Culture House) in last 9 months. To the outcome of events 247 citizens of the Republican got free legal aid. Event dedicated to International Day of Disabled Persons are planned in 4th quarter 2019.
First vice-rector of RLA of Minjust of Russia Dmitry Guriev, Deputy of the Head of Administration of Russian Ministry of Justice in Tatarstan Artyom Galyaytdinov, Deputy Chef of Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan Andrey Korolyov, Acting Director of Kazan institute (branch) of Russian state university of justice (RLA of Minjust of Russia) Tamara Leuhina took part in round-table work.
