History of every family, history of common Victory

Today we will tell about story of our colleague Gulnara Safiullina who told about her family heroes – grandfather Farkhutdinov Mavlet Khakimovich and grandmother Farkhutdinova Tanzilya Fattakhovna.

Mavlet Khakimovich was born in the Kukcha village of the Sabinsky district of the TASSR in the family of peasant, was the youngest son. Start of the Great Patriotic War caught Mavlet Khakimovich when he served in the Soviet Army. 15th July, 1940, he started to serve in 746th aviation regiment, later in 1941 as part of his aviation regiment he went on the front. From the June, 1941, till July, 1942, he battled with the German army in the infantry. Mavlet Khakimovich said that in the year was cold, hungry, sleepless and scare. Till the January, 1946, he battled in 25th and 203d guards heavy bomber aviation regiment, worked as a senior aviation-mechanic. In the same 1942 his mother have got in the foxhole written postcard which became a family relic for lots of generations of Farkhutdinovs. Mavlet Khakimovich met the Victory as a senior sergeant of guard and deserved following awards during the War: medal “For the military merits”, “For Moscow defense”, “For the Victory over the Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 years” and “Order of the Patriotic War of the 2nd degree”.

His girlfriend Tanzilya Fattakhova walked  Mavlet Khakimovich to the military service. She was born in the family of wealthy peasant in the Kukcha village of the Sabinsky district of the TASSR, she was the 3d among 8 children. After the graduation of the Paramedical faculty of the medical college in Kazan she started to work as a nurse in the Sabinsky regional hospital from where she was enlisted in the Red Army in 1941. In War times she served in the military hospital as a paramedic in the Kukmor city and then from 1943 in Moscow. Great Victory she meet as a junior sergeant.

After the War finished Mavlet Khakimovich and Tanzilya Fattakhova registered the marriage, lived in Kazan  4 years and returned to the home village. Mavlet Khakimovich was employed in the collective farm as an auditor and Tanzilya Fattakhova became a village paramedic.
