Meeting of the Council of judges of the Republic of Tatarstan

Deputy Minister of justice Nadezhda Ragozina told today at a meeting of the Council of judges about cooperation of the Ministry of justice, magistrates of the Republic and the Federal bailiff service of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan. Ensuring the safety of magistrates, employees of their offices, as well as citizens who apply to the court, has an impact on the effectiveness of the work of judicial sections.hat is why issues of cooperation between the Ministry and UFSSP RF by RT in terms of ensuring security in judicial custody today in the spotlight.

"Currently, the magistrates of the republic are located in 72 buildings, most of which have metal detectors or hand-held metal detectors, modern video surveillance systems are installed in the buildings both along the outer perimeter and corridors of buildings, and in the courtrooms. In addition, the checkpoints of all 72 buildings are equipped with computer equipment with 3 electronic databases installed, the operability of which is regularly checked by us. During working hours, the buildings of the judicial precincts are protected by bailiffs to ensure the established order of the courts. These security measures, as well as technical equipment, made it possible to prevent about 289 cases of prohibited items being brought to court stations in the first half of 2020," Nadezhda Ragozina said.

The Deputy Minister also said the question of interaction with UFSSP RF by RT on the verification of administrative fines imposed by magistrates and sent to the court bailiffs to initiate enforcement proceedings. As of January 1, 2020, the Ministry of justice is the chief revenue administrator for administrative fines imposed by the magistrates.
