Meeting of the Expert Council under the Ombudsman in the Republic of Tatarstan
First Deputy Minister of justice Ainur Galimov took part in the meeting of the Expert Council under the Ombudsman in the Republic of Tatarstan on the topic: "the Role of state and local self-government bodies in the resocialization of former convicts", held online.
Ainur Galimov spoke about the activities of the working group of the Government Commission of the Republic on crime prevention, in particular about the organization of work on crime prevention in urban districts and municipal districts.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of ministries and departments of the Republic, as well as local self-government bodies.
During the meeting, they discussed systemic problems in terms of employment of citizens released from prison, providing them with housing, etc. Special attention was paid to the role of interdepartmental territorial commissions established in the territories of municipal districts and urban districts of the Republic.
