About changes in the legislation on local self-government

On January 1, 2021, the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 69-ZRT of November 13, 2020 "On amendments to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Tatarstan" comes into force.

The law amended, in particular, article 3 Of the law of the Republic of Tatarstan dated February 12, 2009 No. 15-ZRT "On guarantees of the exercise of the powers of a Deputy of a representative body of a municipal formation, a member of an elected local self-government body, an elected official of local self-government in the Republic of Tatarstan", article 4 of the Code of the Republic of Tatarstan on municipal service.

In accordance with changes in the absence of debts on taxes, duties and other mandatory payments to the budgets of the budgetary system of the Russian Federation is a mandatory condition for the appointment of surcharges to pension to the persons replacing the municipal office on a permanent basis; when a pension for years of service to the persons replacing posts of municipal service.

If the debt issue is resolved within 90 days from the date of applying for the above-mentioned appointments, the appointments will be made from the date of applying for such appointments.
