On March 4, 2021, the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 5-ZRT of March 3, 2021 "On Amendments to Article 6 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan "On Transport Tax"came into force.

The amendments regulate the procedure for granting benefits to individuals who have registered two or more vehicles. It is established that a tax benefit is granted in respect of one vehicle in accordance with the application for granting a tax benefit to a taxpayer of an individual.

If such an application is not submitted, the tax benefit is granted in respect of the vehicle with the maximum calculated amount of tax.
