New legislation
On April 5, 2021, the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 17-ZRT of April 5, 2021 "On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan "On Ensuring the Protection of Housing Rights of Citizens" came into force.
The amendments are aimed at ensuring the protection of the rights of citizens in the implementation of the integrated development of the territory of residential development, in particular, the mechanism for providing other residential premises to tenants and compensatory measures (provision of other residential premises or equivalent compensation) to the owners of apartments in apartment buildings included in the boundaries of the territory of residential development subject to integrated development is regulated.
