On May 20, on the basis of the training ground of the Kazan Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Countering extremism and participation of internal affairs bodies in the fight against terrorism", a training seminar was held for the senior staff and members of the Anti-Terrorist Commission of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by Deputy Minister N. V. Ragozina.
This event was held in order to implement the requirements of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 26.07.2011 No. 988 "On the Interdepartmental Commission for Countering Extremism in the Russian Federation" and in accordance with paragraph 6.1. of the minutes of the meeting of the Anti-Terrorist Commission in the Republic of Tatarstan of 02.04.2021 No. PR-77 "On the use of training grounds for the prevention of terrorism and extremism of the CUI of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the organization of educational work".
Acting head of the CUI of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia M. R. Garafutdinov conducted a sightseeing tour for the employees of the Ministry, familiarizing them with the educational and material base of the Institute. He told the guests about the work carried out at the Institute for the prevention of terrorism and extremism, including within the framework of the interuniversity committee of the Council of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan "Prevention of Extremism and prevention of interethnic and interfaith conflicts among students of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan", which is headed by the head of the Kazan Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Police Major General F. K. Zinnurov.
The training seminar was held on the basis of the training ground "Countering extremism and the participation of internal affairs bodies in the fight against terrorism" and the specialized class "Explosives", during which the head of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities of the CUI of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Police Colonel E. P. Shlyakhtin, addressed the audience. He shared his practical experience in countering extremism and terrorism both on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan and during official business trips to ensure law and order in the North Caucasus region of the Russian Federation.
