Ksenia Martochkina, Head of the Department for Ensuring the Activities of Magistrates, told about the problems arising from the use of information technologies in the organization of office work and legal proceedings at a meeting of the Council of Judges.
In order to increase the efficiency of employees' activities and improve the process of judicial record keeping, new information technologies are being introduced at the judicial precincts of magistrates of the Republic of Tatarstan.
So in 2021, the Ministry carried out work on updating qualified certificates of keys for verifying electronic signatures of magistrates. The use of electronic signatures allows you to save office time and money, as well as facilitate and improve the organization of the workflow.
"However, as practice shows, not all magistrates use an electronic signature to the full extent. Justices of the Peace continue to sign some correspondence on paper in their usual way, scan it and upload it to the electronic document management system for sending. Definitely, this whole process can be optimized using an electronic signature," Ksenia Martochkina told the members of the Council of Judges.
The head of the department also noted that the use of such a software package as "Justices of the Peace" does not cause problems, but requires expanding the functionality in terms of organizing electronic interaction of justices of the peace with citizens and executive authorities.
Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court Aidar Galiakberov thanked Ksenia Martochkina for her informative report and called on the members of the Council to adopt an appropriate resolution.
