About the approval of the Procedure for the release of mobilized and their families from fines for overdue payments on housing and communal services

Today, on the Official portal of Legal Information of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic published a Presidential Decree approving the Procedure for the release of mobilized and their families from penalties for overdue payments for housing and communal services in apartment buildings and residential premises, and contributions for major repairs in apartment buildings.

In accordance with the Procedure, citizens of the Russian Federation who have signed a contract for military service in connection with conscription for mobilization, and their family members, before the termination of the contract, are exempt from accrual of penalties if they have untimely made payment for residential premises or utilities, as well as from the contribution to the overhaul of common property in an apartment building.

An application for release must be submitted to organizations that receive payment for residential premises and utilities. The decree comes into force 10 days after its official publication.
