Meeting of the anti-corruption commission under the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan

Today, Justice Minister Rustem Zagidullin held the first meeting of the Anti-Corruption Commission this year.

 

During the meeting, reports of the heads of departments of the Ministry were heard.

 

Alexey Melnikov, the person responsible for the prevention of corruption and other offenses, made a report on the work carried out in the field of combating corruption in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2022. He noted that the Ministry of Justice carries out systematic work on the implementation of anti-corruption policy, which is aimed at reducing the causes and conditions that give rise to corruption, and at involving employees of the Ministry of Justice in the process of implementing anti-corruption policy.

 

Traditionally, as part of the anti-corruption work with the employees of the structural divisions of the Ministry, who go for inspections, were instructed on:

 

prevention of a conflict of interest and its settlement;

behavior in situations that pose a corruption risk;

compliance with the restrictions, prohibitions, and rules of official conduct established by law, under signature with entry in the appropriate briefing log.

So, in 2022, 15 people were instructed to leave for inspections.
