The holiday of the plough and labor is marching across Tatarstan!
Sabantuy in Kazan will take place on June 24! The holiday will be celebrated at three sites - in the birch groves of Mirny and Derbyshki residential areas, in the forest park area of Lebyazhe Lake.
The residents of the Republic's districts have already celebrated Sabantuy. The Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan visited the celebration in Elabuga district among other honorary guests. Rustem Zagidullin congratulated the attendees on the main national holiday and read out a congratulatory message on behalf of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan.
"Sabantui is by right a favorite and long-awaited holiday of all Tatars and residents of our republic. It was and remains a meeting place for representatives of different nationalities and religions, creating a special atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding between peoples. On a festive Maidan they honor, first of all, workers of agriculture, thanks to their selfless work the sowing campaign is successfully completed, the foundations of the future harvest and food prosperity of Tatarstan are laid. Let this wonderful holiday bring good mood and prosperity," said Rustem Ildusovich, adding his wishes of happiness and health to the citizens of Yelabuga.
It should be noted that the "Sabantuy" holiday corresponds to the objectives of the federal project "Cultural Environment" of the national project "Culture".
