Tatarstan continues to provide free legal assistance to mobilized, contract workers, volunteers and their family members

At the beginning of the year legal assistance was provided to more than 60 participants of the SSO

Specialists of the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan continue active work on providing free legal assistance to mobilized, contract workers, volunteers and members of their families.

Reception is held at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan on a daily basis. The most frequent requests of the participants of the SSO are related to the issues of military medical commission, sanatorium-resort treatment and insurance payments, as well as suspension of enforcement proceedings. "One of the tasks of the legal community is to assist in solving the national tasks. Since the beginning of mobilization there has been a need to explain the rights and obligations of mobilized, contract volunteers and their families. And now the support, including legal support, is especially important," says Rustem Zagidullin, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Gosyurbureau of Tatarstan actively cooperates with the branch of the State Fund for Support of Participants of the Special Military Operation "Defenders of the Fatherland" in the Republic of Tatarstan. Since June 16, 2023 the Agreement concluded between the State Commission and the Fund has been in force. Within the framework of the Agreement 5 receptions were held on the issues of providing measures of state support to participants of the special military operation "Defenders of the Fatherland" and their family members. All applicants are helped in resolving legal issues and assisted in drafting applications to the authorized bodies.

In addition, employees of the State Legal Bureau regularly organize field visits to provide legal assistance to the participants of SWO in settlements. This year they visited 19 remote settlements of the republic.

"Field events to provide free legal aid are very important. They help residents living in isolated areas to solve legal issues, realize their rights and obligations. We will continue to hold such events," said Mars Fatkullin, Head of the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan.
