Poetry festival dedicated to the 280th anniversary of the birth of Gavriil Derzhavin
Today on July 14 a poetry festival dedicated to the 280th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding statesman, great Russian poet, the first Minister of Justice of Russia Gavriil Romanovich Derzhavin took place.
In a solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the monument of Derzhavin
in the Lyadsky Garden of Kazan were attended by the Prosecutor of the Republic of Tatarstan I.S. Nafikov, Minister of Culture I.H. Ayupova, First Deputy Minister of Justice A.G. Galimov, the leadership of the Union of Writers of Russia and the Republic of Tatarstan, employees of the Ministry of Justice and students of the Kazan branch of the All-Russian State University of Justice (RPA of the Ministry of Justice of Russia).
The event will continue in Laishevsky district, where the grand opening of the museum of Laishevsky region named after G.R. Derzhavin, reconstructed within the framework of the national project "Culture", a festive concert and the announcement of the winner of the republican prize named after Gavriil Derzhavin in the field of literature in 2023 will take place.
