Meeting on the organization of free legal assistance to participants in the special military operation

The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, chaired by Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation Maxim Beskhemelnitsyn, held a meeting on issues related to the organization of legal assistance to participants in special military operations in cooperation with the State Fund for the Support of Participants in Special Military Operations "Defenders of the Fatherland".

 

More than 500 participants of the state system of free legal aid from 89 subjects of the Russian Federation took part in the meeting via videoconference.

 

The Republic of Tatarstan was represented by Ainur Galimov, Acting Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mars Fatkullin, Head of the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Head of the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan. Mars Fatkullin, and representatives of other participants of the state system of free legal aid in the Republic.

 

The Tatarstan branch of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" fund has been working for two months already. The State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Fund have concluded an agreement on cooperation in the field of free legal aid.

 

In total, since the beginning of 2023, employees of the State Legal Bureau have provided free legal assistance to 60 mobilized citizens and their family members.

According to the Ministry of Justice of Russia, over the last two months over 500 cooperation agreements have been concluded between participants of the state system of free legal aid and branches of the Fund. The most popular issues today are those related to acquiring the status of a combat veteran, monetary payments, repayment of loans, undergoing rehabilitation in medical institutions and receiving psychological and therapeutic assistance.
