The post of assistant to a justice of the peace was introduced in the offices of justices of the peace of the Republic of Tatarstan
In order to improve the activity of the apparatuses of justices of the peace of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rais of the Republic signed a Decree on amendments to the Register of Civil Service Positions. According to the Decree, the position of "consultant" is replaced by the position of "assistant to a justice of the peace".
"The new job title more accurately reflects the employee's functionality. In the district courts of the republic, the position with similar functional duties is called "assistant judge", - explains Minister of Justice Rustem Zagidullin.
The proposed renaming is supported by the Council of Judges of Tatarstan and corresponds to the regional practice of forming the structure of the apparatus of justices of the peace in the Volga Federal District. For example, the position of "assistant justice of the peace" is available in Udmurtia, Bashkortostan, Mordovia, as well as Penza, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg, Kirov, Samara, Saratov regions and Perm Krai.
