The Tatarstan State Law Office held a reception for the hearing impaired with the participation of a sign language interpreter
In April this year, the head of the State Legal Bureau and the Chairman of the Tatar Republican Branch of the Public Organization of the All-Russian Society of the Deaf signed a Cooperation Agreement.
"Provision of free legal aid became possible due to cooperation with the All-Russian Society of the Deaf. Conclusion of the agreement is another step in solving the problems of the hearing impaired. We are glad that we managed to find a mechanism of work and create the necessary conditions for accessible legal advice, which people need very much", - said the deputy head of the State Legal Bureau of Tatarstan Rafael Giniatullov.
During the reception 8 citizens were received. They were interested in a variety of issues: provision of social benefits to the deaf, non-fulfillment of obligations of the developer, division of personal accounts, obtaining citizenship, determination of the category of disability of a child and others. All those who came to the reception were given qualified assistance, explanations and recommendations on further actions.
In accordance with the Agreement and within the framework of the state program "Social Support of Citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2025" such joint receptions of citizens will be held quarterly.
