The Minister of Justice congratulated the residents of Yelabuga district on the International Day of the Elderly
Within the framework of the decade of the elderly people the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin took part in the events dedicated to the International Day of the Elderly in the Yelabuga municipal district.
The meeting with representatives of the older generation was held in the City Palace of Culture of Yelabuga. A concert program, as well as an exhibition and sale of decorative and applied arts and master classes were organized for the wise age residents of Yelabuga.
Speaking before the guests of the holiday Rustem Zagidullin warmly congratulated veterans, pensioners, representatives of the older generation on the International Day of the Elderly, expressed words of sincere gratitude for their invaluable contribution to the successful establishment and development of our republic in the past and active life position at present, for the fact that they help to educate the younger generation with their wise advice and generously share their rich life experience. He wished the residents of the district good health, happiness, well-being, attention and care of loved ones, further prosperity of the district.
Lidia Gorbunova, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, was honored separately on this day. The Minister presented her with the title of Honorary citizen of Yelabuzhan.
