The Minister of Justice of RT held a session dedicated to Derzhavin at the II Kazan International Legal Forum
The II Kazan International Legal Forum was held in the IТ-park named after Bashir Rameyev. The II Kazan International Legal Forum took place in the Bashir Rameyev IТ-park, attended by more than 600 specialists from Russia, India, China, Brazil, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries.
On the first day of the forum the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin held a plenary session dedicated to the life and activities of the first Minister of Justice of the Russian Empire Gavriil Romanovich Derzhavin, whose 280th anniversary was celebrated on July 14, 2023.
The speakers at the section were the Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation K.A. Chuichenko, member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation from the Republic of Tatarstan A.M. Terentyev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan L.R. Fazleyeva, Professor of Vyatka State University A.G. Maslova, full member of the Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences (Samara) O.M. Buranok, teacher of Kazan Institute (branch) of the federal state budgetary educational institution of higher education "All Russia".
The session was attended by more than 60 participants, including representatives of federal and republican authorities, scientific community, teachers and students of higher educational institutions of the republic. The participants discussed the concepts of Gavriil Derzhavin's works, his principles and views on life, his contribution to the formation and development of legal institutions in Russia.
"Gavriil Romanovich was a man of high morality, a fighter for the ideas of citizenship and legality. Derzhavin's name, firmness of his character, ability to defend justice in any life situation, to bring his opinion to great minds, have always been present, visibly or invisibly, in the history of Tatarstan. Such people are the face of modern Tatarstan, remaining for us a kind of moral reference point" - said Rustem Zagidullin.
