Free legal assistance on the issues of receiving insurance payments for injuries, appealing against the conclusions of military medical commissions and providing measures of state support was provided to participants of the special military operation.
The reception was held by Marat Sharafutdinov, a leading specialist of the State Legal Bureau, at the Tatarstan branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation.
"Problems requiring professional solution are different. We have a task to provide legal assistance to all those who need it free of charge and in a qualified manner. I note that the range of incoming questions is expanding, as well as the categories of people seeking help", - says Marat Sharafutdinov.
The State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan actively cooperates with the State Fund, which was established by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Let us remind you that the State Legal Bureau and the Fund signed an agreement on cooperation, which approves the procedure for providing free legal assistance to such category of citizens as participants of the SWO and members of their families. Within the framework of the Agreement, specialists of the State Legal Bureau weekly on Thursdays hold a reception of citizens on the site of the Fund.
To date, 41 citizens have received legal assistance in the form of oral and written advice, for 9 months of this year, 180 participants of the special military operation applied for free legal assistance.
In addition, the participants of the special operation and their family members can directly apply for free legal assistance by calling the hotline 222-60-60-60 operated by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan. Measures to provide free legal assistance are provided for by the state program "Social Support of Citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2025".
Earlier Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin said that the right to receive free legal aid for participants of the SWO and their family members appeared in December 2022, and in July of this year the categories of participants were expanded. Now, the right to free legal aid is granted not only to those who are now directly in the zone of the Strategic Defense Forces, but also to those who have already returned, as well as to those who have performed their combat missions since May 2014.
