250 people from Tatarstan will participate in the World Youth Festival
The World Youth Festival in 2024 will bring together more than 20 thousand young activists from Russia and countries near and far abroad. The festival will be held from March 1 to 7 in Sochi, and then during the week foreign participants will visit the regions of Russia.
20 thousand people from Russia and foreign countries aged from 18 to 35 can become participants of the World Youth Festival, including young scientists, IT-specialists, representatives of media and youth public associations, environmentalists, entrepreneurs, athletes, artists, engineers, specialists in tourism, agriculture, agro-technology, urbanization and formation of comfortable urban environment, leaders of volunteer, volunteer and charitable organizations and many others. In addition, for the first time in the history of the festival movement, the opportunity to participate in the event will be given to teenagers from 14 to 17 years old - 500 from Russia and 500 from abroad.
The application can be submitted until November 4 at fest2024.com as a participant or volunteer.
It should be noted that the World Youth Festival Volunteer Engagement and Training Center, created on the basis of the Information and Resource Center for Volunteerism of the Republic of Tatarstan, has started its work in Kazan.
The Volunteer Engagement and Training Centre in Kazan became one of the four organizations that will train and coordinate the work of volunteers of the Volga Federal District. In total, it will select 180 volunteers, 120 of whom will come from the Republic of Tatarstan and 60 from the Volga Federal District.
