The Ministry of Justice hosted a meeting of the management with representatives of the Office of the Head of the Chuvash Republic on anti-corruption issues. Within the framework of the round table they exchanged practices of anti-corruption legislation implementation.
Greeting the attendees, First Deputy Minister of Justice Ainur Galimov told the guests about the activities of the republican structures in this important area, methods of work to prevent corrupt behavior in society and the implementation of the republican anti-corruption program.
The Ministry of Justice of the Republic exercises general control over the implementation of the state anti-corruption program, within the framework of which for 9 months of 2023 representatives of the Ministry conducted 10 inspections of the implementation of the program (in 5 municipal districts and 5 executive authorities).
The identified shortcomings are sent to the program implementers for correction, and the results of the inspections are posted on the official website of the Ministry in the "Anti-Corruption" section.
The established system of control over the implementation of measures of the state program has proved its effectiveness, and in 2021-2022 the indicators of the state program have been fully implemented.
In addition, the most important element of the anti-corruption policy is the conduct of independent anti-corruption expertise. Every year the Republic of Tatarstan holds an anti-corruption expertise contest for independent experts. In 2023, as of the current date, 11 applications have been submitted for the contest. The winners, who took places from 1st to 3rd place, are entitled to a cash prize. The awarding will take place on December 9 on the International Anti-Corruption Day.
