The State Legal Bureau of Tatarstan is one year old!
Exactly one year ago, on November 1, 2022, the "State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan" started its work in Tatarstan. The Bureau is a subordinate institution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The institution provides free legal assistance to citizens in the form of legal counseling in oral and written forms, drafting documents of legal nature, statements and complaints, lawsuits or draft lawsuits.
"People come to the reception with various questions of legal nature. Since the beginning of work we have registered more than 1600 appeals on such issues as provision of social support measures, protection of consumer rights, pension provision, restructuring of debts for payment of housing and utilities, recognition of the right to immovable property and many others", - says the head of the State Legal Bureau Mars Fatkullin.
In order to increase the efficiency of protection of human and civil rights and freedoms between the State Legal Bureau of Tatarstan and republican bodies and organizations signed Agreements on cooperation in the field of free legal aid.
Thus, special attention in the work of the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan is paid to legal assistance to the participants of the special military operation and members of their families.
Weekly on Thursdays under the cooperation agreement with the branch of the State Fund for Support of Participants of the Special Military Operation "Defenders of the Fatherland" in the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan receive citizens at the site of the Fund in order to provide them with free legal assistance. To date, 13 receptions have been held, during which 41 people have applied and received legal assistance in the form of oral and written advice.
In accordance with the agreement concluded with the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan, joint receptions are held every Tuesday, a total of 13 receptions have been held, during which 74 people were received.
According to the agreement concluded with the Office of the Ombudsman for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan, 6 receptions were held, at which 38 people were received.
To simplify the process of providing free legal assistance to residents of remote areas, the staff of the State Legal Bureau regularly conducts field visits. For 9 months of the current year 34 field trips to municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan were held, where more than 270 residents of the Republic were assisted
