Reviewed the results of work on compliance of municipal charters with the legislation
In the Ministry of Justice under the leadership of Deputy Minister Mukharryam Ibyatov a meeting was held on the topic: "Bringing the charters of municipalities in compliance with the legislation".
The event was attended by Artem Galyautdinov, Deputy Head of the Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alsu Safina, Prosecutor of Department No. 1 for supervision over the legality of normative legal acts of the Department for supervision over the enforcement of federal legislation of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan, deputy heads of municipal districts and urban districts, heads of urban and rural settlements of the republic, representatives of legal services of local self-government authorities.
Artem Galyautdinov informed about the number of charters of municipal entities, which have not been amended for a long time.
Raliya Garifullina, Head of the Department for Regulatory Legal Work in the Sphere of Local Self-Government and Maintenance of the Municipal Register, presented the data of the municipal register on compliance of municipal acts with the charters of municipal entities.
Alsu Safina drew attention of local self-government authorities to the necessity of timely harmonization of charters of municipal entities with the legislation.
In the course of the meeting Mukharryam Ibyatov noted the importance of sending to the Department of the Ministry of Justice of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan the acts of prosecutor's response to the charters, as well as information on the sources and dates of publication (promulgation) of charters.
Based on the results of the event, local self-government authorities were given recommendations on the issues of timely bringing the charters of municipalities into compliance with the legislation.
