The State Legal Bureau of Tatarstan helped to return a car to a relative of a soldier killed in the SVO

The grandfather of a fighter killed in the SVO applied to the State Legal Bureau for free legal assistance.

According to the man, in 2013 he bought an OPEL ASTRA car, which he immediately registered with the traffic police. However, in October 2023, he received a summons to court as a co-defendant in a civil case on the claim of the bank on foreclosure of pledged property on the above-mentioned car.

As it turned out, this car was pledged to the bank even before 2013, i.e. before it was purchased by the applicant.

Mars Fatkullin, head of the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan, noted that the applicant is a bona fide purchaser and owner of the car, which is registered in the manner prescribed by law.

"We studied the documents and prepared objections to the bank's statement of claim to the court. In December, the court ruled to reject the claim and left the citizen the car, which was going to deprive him of", - said Mars Fatkullin.
