Tatarstan will extend the state program on anti-corruption policy for a year

Today, Justice Minister Rustem Zagidullin took part in a meeting of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on Law and Order. The Minister presented to the deputies changes to the state programs «Implementation of the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Tatarstan» and «Development of justice in the Republic of Tatarstan».

Currently, the formation of the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2025 and the planning period 2026-2027 is beginning. In accordance with the Budget Code of the Russian Federation and the Budget Code of the Republic of Tatarstan, the expenditure part of budgets should be formed according to state programs.

According to the Minister, the anti-corruption program ends in 2026. «In order to form the expenditure part of the budget for 2025-2027, in accordance with budget legislation, the draft provides for amendments to the state program in terms of extending its validity period for 2027 and determining financing for the specified period»,- he explained. Taking into account the changes, the total amount of funds from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan for the implementation of the state program will amount to 99.4178 million rubles.

Recall that the state program «Implementation of the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Tatarstan» has been implemented in Tatarstan since 2015 and is a system-forming document that forms the planned activities for the prevention of corruption in the republic. Since January 1, 2024, the Program has been implemented in a new version, and is now divided into project and process parts, which collectively include 11 tasks, 76 activities and 20 evaluation indicators.

The proposed changes have been approved by the deputies and will be sent to the Government of Tatarstan for approval.
