The Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the meeting of Rais with the Akims of Turkestan and Kyzylorda regions
Today, the Kazan Kremlin hosted a meeting of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy and Akim of Kyzylorda region Nurlybek Nalibayev. Tatarstan Minister of Justice Rustem Zagidullin also took part in the meeting.
The Rais of the republic noted that Tatarstan has experience of cooperation with the Kyzylorda region. In 2017, Rustam Minnikhanov visited the region, in particular, visited the city of Baikonur. «I have heard a lot about the Turkestan region as an intensively developing region of Kazakhstan. We plan to visit Turkestan and establish our cooperation», - Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Last year, the trade turnover between Tatarstan and Kazakhstan increased by 7% and amounted to $810 million. Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the volume of mutual trade can be increased to $1 billion.
The guests arrived in Kazan to participate in the international forum of BRICS+ cities.
