The Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan reminded: verbal attacks in chat rooms cost real money
The justice of the peace of the peace of court of judicial district № 13 in the Sovetsky district of Kazan recovered 3,000 rubles from a woman for insulting her ex-husband.
The case materials show that the woman sent her ex-spouse in messenger messages with insulting statements humiliating his honor and dignity in a rude and cynical manner.
The judge noted that insult is a type of psychological violence, which manifests itself in the form of negative characteristics exhibited by one person to another, negatively affecting the perception of the victim's personality by others and lowering his or her own self-esteem.
Having analyzed the case materials, the judge concluded that the expressions used by the defendant are inadmissible norms of behavior in society and contain elements of gross violation of generally accepted rules of politeness and decency. When imposing punishment, the justice of the peace took into account the presence of dependent minor children, considering this circumstance mitigating.
The woman was ordered to pay the fine within 60 days and to submit proof of payment to the judicial district.
