How to protect yourself:

1. Immediately hang up when receiving suspicious calls

2. Call back the official number of the organization the caller claims to be an employee of

3. Critically evaluate the information and check it in official sources

4. Consult with your loved ones before making financial decisions

Remember:

• Banks never request full card details, CVV codes or passwords from SMS

• Government officials do not require money transfers over the phone
