30 May 2026, Saturday

In honor of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a series of free legal assistance events were held throughout the republic.

268 people sought professional assistance, including the families of heroes of the special military operation, combat veterans themselves, as well as labor veterans and retirees. More than 250 consultations were organized.

The most popular were social and legal issues: benefits, payments, pensions, and other government support measures. Citizens were also interested in housing registration, land disputes, medical rehabilitation, prosthetics, housing adaptation for people with disabilities, and labor relations.

«This year is the Year of Military and Labor Valor. As part of this program, and in honor of the 81st anniversary of Victory Day, as well as to provide comprehensive support to veterans, home front workers, and participants in the special military operation, we have strived to ensure that legal assistance programs become an effective assistancefor them and anyone else facing legal difficulties», -noted First Deputy Minister of Justice Ilya Gomzik.
