The annual August teachers' conference was held in Yelabuga
The August conference of education workers identified key areas for the development of the education system of the Yelabuga district for the upcoming academic year. Minister of Justice Rustem Zagidullin noted the republic's leadership in the construction of educational facilities and high student results. The event took place at the Yelabuga Institute of KFU and brought together heads of educational institutions, teachers and government officials.
During the plenary session, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin emphasized the special role of the republic's leadership in the development of educational infrastructure.
«Thanks to Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, Tatarstan is among the leaders in the construction and repair of schools and kindergartens. In 2025, 8 more facilities will be added to the existing schools. 7 more kindergartens will be opened, 74 school kitchens will be modernized», - the minister said.
Rustem Zagidullin also noted the high educational achievements of the republic's students: «The results of the Unified State Exam in mathematics, russian language and elective subjects are higher than the Russian average. In terms of the effectiveness of participation in the All-Russian school olympiad in 2024, the republic took 2nd place, and in terms of the number of winners and prize winners - 4th».
A charity event «Help get ready for school» was also held on the university square, within the framework of which Rustem Zagidullin presented future first-graders - children of employees of the Yelabuga Institute of KFU - with school backpacks with the necessary stationery.
An important part of the event was the award ceremony of representatives of the teaching community. The Minister presented well-deserved awards and wished all education workers professional success and a fruitful academic year.
