At the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan, members of the working group of the Interdepartmental coordination committee on legal issues reviewed and approved the draft law of the Republic of Tatarstan on amendments to the legislation on job quotas. The draft law provides for the inclusion of combat veterans, including participants in the Special military operation, in the list of citizens in particular need of social protection, for whom certain types of work will be reserved.

«The proposed changes are of high social significance and are aimed at providing additional guarantees of employment for those who have honorably fulfilled their duty to the Motherland», - it was noted during the meeting.

According to the developers of the draft law, amendments to paragraph 3 of Article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan «On the quotas of jobs for hiring disabled persons and the reservation of certain types of work» will create an effective mechanism for the social adaptation and professional development of veterans.

Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov often emphasizes the importance of supporting military personnel and their families: «We must create all the necessary conditions for returning to civilian life. This will require solving a whole range of issues, primarily the socialization and rehabilitation of veterans of the SMO, their employment and immediate provision of all support measures».

It is expected that after the adoption of the bill, certain types of work and professions will be reserved for veterans of military operations, which will increase their chances of successful employment.

The draft law will then be sent for consideration to the Expert council of the Interdepartmental coordination committee on legal issues.
