The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan held a working meeting with a delegation from the Republic of Crimea, focusing on the development of a system for providing free legal assistance to citizens. Particular attention was paid to the work of the State Legal Bureau of Tatarstan, an organization whose experience has already been recognized as one of the most effective practices in Russia.
Representing Tatarstan the meeting was attended by senior Ministry officials, the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Head of the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Head of the Department of the organization of free legal assistance and planning.
The participants discussed in detail key aspects of organizing free legal assistance, shared experiences in implementing federal and republican legislation and practices for effective interaction with citizens. The role of modern information technology was an equally significant topic: representatives from Tatarstan discussed the implementation of digital services to optimize legal support processes.
Ilya Gomzik, First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan noted the importance of such meetings for the development of the free legal assistance system: «Meetings of this format facilitate the exchange of best practices and allow us to adopt solutions that have already proven effective. Mutual knowledge sharing and joint discussion of the most effective solutions are a reliable tool for further improving our work and strengthening cooperation between regions», - Ilya Aleksandrovich emphasized.
Representatives from Crimea, in turn, noted that Tatarstan's experience will serve as a foundation for the creation of its own State Legal Bureau in the Republic of Crimea.
At the end of the visit, the guests viewed the exhibition at the Tatarstan Ministry of Justice museum, whose collection is dedicated to the key stages in the formation and development of the justice system in the republic. «The authenticity of the exhibits and the rich content of the tour are exceptionally impressive», - their colleagues from Crimea shared.
