Employees of the Ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan competed in a chess tournament of the Tatarstan judicial system
The Tatarstan judicial system chess championship was held in Kazan at the Republican sports school of olympic reserve in chess, checkers and go named after R.G. Nezhmetdinov. The tournament was dedicated to two significant dates: the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic war and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of justice in Russia.
The Tatarstan Ministry of justice team was one of the most active participants in the competition.
«We entered the tournament with great enthusiasm, - said Adel Safin, head of the Ministry's department. - Even though we didn't win any prizes, we gained invaluable experience and the opportunity to network with colleagues in an informal setting. Ultimately, the most important thing is not winning, but participating and respecting the anniversaries to which the tournament is dedicated».
The participation of veterans of the judicial system added a special flavor to the competition. «It was exciting to play against those who stood at the origins of the republic's modern judicial system, - shared one of the young employees of the Ministry of Justice. - The opportunity to play chess with them is already a reward».
