A meeting of the anti-corruption Commission under the Minister of justice of the Republic was held today. Victoria Leonidova, who is responsible for the prevention of corruption offenses in the Ministry, presented the results of anti-corruption work for 9 months of this year.
According to Victoria Leonidova, all 873 employees of the Ministry of justice have successfully passed a thorough check for compliance with anti-corruption legislation. «We have checked each employee against the databases of the Unified state register of legal entities, the Unified state register of individual entrepreneurs and other information systems. Special attention was paid to the prohibition of participation in entrepreneurial activities and the prevention of conflicts of interest», - she explained.
During the reporting period, the Ministry of justice of Tatarstan issued 7 orders aimed at strengthening anti-corruption work. Among them are documents on updating the composition of relevant commissions and clarifying the list of positions with increased corruption risks.
In addition, it was noted at the meeting that the Ministry did not apply legal liability measures to civil servants due to the lack of grounds. There were no notifications of personal interest that could lead to a conflict of interest during the period under review.
In conclusion, Victoria Igorevna recalled that in order to provide feedback to citizens, the Ministry continues to operate special communication channels: «Helpline», «Helpline box» and the internet reception, which allow to promptly report possible corruption.
