Tatarstan is the leader among the regions of the Volga Federal District in filling out the municipal register of regulatory legal acts
The Republic of Tatarstan took the first place among the regions of the Volga Federal District in terms of filling out the register of municipal regulatory legal acts. This was announced by the deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Mukharryam Ibyatov.
As of march 1 2026, the system contains 354 thousand acts of local governments of Tatarstan. In the reporting period, the Ministry included more than 29 thousand new documents.
«This result was made possible thanks to the effective joint work of the Ministry and local governments. Back in 2021-2022, the republic occupied the second position, and today we are the leaders in the Volga Federal District», - Muharryam Ibyatov emphasized.
A significant step in optimizing work with municipal acts was the integration of the register with the Official portal of legal information of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2022. For this purpose, appropriate changes have been made to the republican legislation.
Since 2013, the Portal has been one of the main sources of official publication of regulatory legal acts. Currently, a common practice of publishing documents on this platform has been established in all municipalities of the republic.
The integration has significantly reduced the administrative burden on local governments, eliminating the need for additional acts to be sent to the Ministry. In 2025 93% of municipal acts were entered into the register by automated inclusion after publication.
In accordance with the legislation, all regulatory legal acts adopted by local governments are subject to mandatory inclusion in the municipal register, which ensures their accessibility and transparency for citizens and organizations.
