In honor of the Great Victory and as part of the Year of Military and Labor Valor, the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan held children's competitions
The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan held creative competitions in honor of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and as part of the Year of Military and Labor Valor in Tatarstan.
The «We Swear to Remember!» recitation competition and the «They Fought for the Motherland!» drawing competition have been held by the Ministry for 16 years. This year, 62 children participated — children and grandchildren of Ministry employees, members of the Justices of the Peace offices, subordinate institutions, and veterans of the service.
The young reciters impressed the jury with their deep understanding of military themes. Reciting poems about the war, they conveyed sincere emotions that left no one indifferent. Their artwork captured key moments in history: the Victory Parade on Red Square, the return of front-line soldiers home, the legendary T-34 tanks, the celebratory fireworks display over Moscow. Some children dedicated their drawings to modern-day heroes—participants in the special military operation.
Tatarstan Minister of Justice Rustem Zagidullin, presenting the awards, congratulated all participants on the upcoming May 9th. «Our shared goal is to preserve the memory of Victory Day, of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers who defended the freedom and independence of our Motherland», - the minister noted. Rustem Zagidullin thanked the children and their parents for their active participation in the competitions. «It's very gratifying to see such talented and creative children. Thank you for your participation, and your parents for your support».

In the drawing competition on the theme «They Fought for the Motherland»
in the age category 5 to 10 years (inclusive):
1st place - Amalia Albertovna Abdullina, 9 years old
2nd place - Samat Ildusovich Khafizov, 9 years old
3rd place - Saida Ildusovna Khafizova, 5 years old
in the age category 11 to 17 years (inclusive)
1st place - Elina Sergeevna Petrova, 16 years old
2nd place - Ralina Arturovna Gubaidullina, 16 years old
3rd place - Ralina Gadelevna Garifullina, 17 years old
In the recitation competition «We Swear to Remember!»
In the 10-and-under age category (inclusive)
1st place - Safiya Aidarovna Sirayeva, 7 years old
2nd place - Saida Aidarovna Sirayeva, 10 years old
3rd place - Saida Ildusovna Khafizova, 5 years old
In the 11- to 17-year-old age category (inclusive)
1st place - Saveliy Pavlovich Titov, 11 years old
2nd place - Samira Farkhadovna Shigabieva, 13 years old
3rd place - Ivan Grigorievich Lisenkov, 13 years old
The participants who placed 4th, 5th, and 6th in each age category were awarded diplomas as competition laureates.
