Prohibition of giving and receiving gifts

In connection with the upcoming New Year and Christmas holidays, there is a need to remind the citizens and also people s who hold state or municipal offices, positions of state and municipal services, and also employees of certain state and municipal institutions on compliance with the statutory prohibition on giving and receiving gifts.

Getting gifts is a violation of anti-corruption legislation, creates the conditions for a conflict of interest and shall be liable under the legislation of the Russian Federation.

Giving gifts to officials due performance of their official powers, in accordance with the law can be qualified as a bribe, that is a criminal offense.
