The purpose of holding of all-Russian Day of legal aid for children is to provide free legal assistance to orphans; children left without parental care; persons from the number of orphans and children left without parental care; persons wishing to take on the education in the family of a child left without parental care; adoptive parents; disabled children (their legal representatives and representatives), and also the introduction of these categories of citizens with rights and responsibilities of children, parents, guardians and legal education on topical legal issues.
On 21st of November, 2016, was held the opening of courses of raising the level of skills for magistrates of the Republic of Tatarstan and employees of their offices, where with a welcoming speech to the audience addressed the chief of department for providing activities of magistrates of the Ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan A.V.Vorobev.

On 15th of November, 2016 first deputy minister of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan R.I.Zagidullin took part in the meeting of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on law and order, where he made presentations on the draft law "On prevention of offenses in the Republic of Tatarstan", "On amendments to articles 12 and 13 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan "On the provision of free legal assistance to citizens in the Republic of Tatarstan".
